Artist Bill of Rights

Your rights as an artist on PersonalityAI

Last updated: May 2026. These eight rights are contractual, not aspirational. Every artist on the platform holds them by default. The full binding language lives in your member agreement; this page is the public summary.

1. 01

   You consent before you appear

   No digital twin is created from your likeness without an affirmative recorded take and a signed license. We do not scrape, train on, or generate content involving anyone who has not actively recorded a take in our Studio.

2. 02

   You set the boundaries

   Every artist enumerates the use cases they will license to and the categories they hard-exclude. Boundaries are written into the contract, visible to brands before they lease, and enforced by the platform — a render that drifts outside scope is blocked at the API level.

3. 03

   You can revoke

   You can revoke any active lease at any time, with a maximum 90-day window to honor existing campaign commitments. Outputs rendered during a valid lease remain valid through the window; nothing new ships against your twin after the revocation effective date.

4. 04

   You keep the royalty

   Every lease, every render, every campaign that uses your likeness pays. The royalty is yours, paid out on a transparent schedule visible in your member dashboard. We take a platform fee; we never take your share.

5. 05

   You see the audit trail

   Every render, every contract event, every lifecycle moment of your twin is logged in an audit trail you can download. If a brand uses your likeness outside the licensed scope, you have receipts.

6. 06

   You can leave

   You can delete your account, revoke all active leases, and trigger a hard delete of your underlying assets at any time. The platform has a 30-day grace window for backup recovery; after that, your likeness is gone from our systems.

7. 07

   We will not render certain things

   Regardless of any individual lease, we will not render: violence, intoxication, sexually explicit content, political endorsements, medical or financial advice attributed to you without a verified professional co-signing. These are platform-wide floors that override every contract.

8. 08

   You have a real human to call

   Every verified member has a producer contact who picks up the phone. We are a small team; we treat that as a feature, not a bug.
